A delegation of the Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association, led by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Assembly on Thursday.

They expressed gratitude for the Cabinet’s decision to allot 5 acres of land at concessional rates for a modern sports ground and a state-of-the-art cricket academy at Suryamukhi Devi Rajgami Estate. The initiative will boost training facilities and open new opportunities for local talent.

Dr. Raman Singh hailed Chief Minister Shri Sai for the swift decision, stating it will enable construction of a modern stadium and provide better platforms, especially for tribal youth, to excel at the national level.

In the special session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on late Thursday evening, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while presenting a resolution in support of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, stated that ensuring one-third reservation for women in Parliament and all State Assemblies is a crucial step towards their dignity, holistic development, and empowerment. He said that this initiative will not only strengthen women’s participation in democratic institutions but also provide new momentum towards equal opportunities and balanced representation in society. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that such efforts will empower half of the country’s population with a stronger role in decision-making, making development more inclusive and effective.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the sacred land of Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Shabari, Maa Danteshwari, and Maa Mahamaya, where women have always been revered as embodiments of strength. He said that in Indian culture, women are not only worthy of respect but are the foundation of creation and power. The same Shakti divine power that we worship during Navratri exists in society in the form of motherhood.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the verse from our scriptures, “Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Matru-Roopena Sansthita…,” is not merely a shloka but the essence of Indian philosophy. He noted that personalities like Bhakt Mata Karma, Teejan Bai, and Usha Barle from Chhattisgarh have taken the identity of the state to national and international levels through their talent and dedication. He also described the contributions of legendary Rani Lakshmibai, Rani Durgavati, and Avanti Bai as sources of inspiration. In modern times, women like Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams have enhanced the country’s pride on the global stage.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that expanding women’s participation and representation in the democratic system is essential for the overall development of society. He added that, considering the expanding scope of responsibilities of public representatives and population growth, it is important to periodically review and bring systemic reforms and balance, so that governance becomes more effective and responsive to public needs.

He said that in recent years, several important initiatives have been undertaken in the country to promote women’s dignity, health, safety, and economic empowerment. Through schemes in areas such as sanitation, healthcare, financial inclusion, education, and security, positive changes have been observed in the standard of living of women. These efforts have played a significant role in strengthening women’s dignity and self-reliance.

The Chief Minister stated that special priority is being given to women’s empowerment in Chhattisgarh. The year 2026 is being celebrated as “Mahtari Gaurav Varsh,” aimed at honoring the contribution of Matra Shakti- maternal strength and promoting their holistic development. He informed that through various schemes, women are being provided financial assistance, self-employment opportunities, and social security.

He said that special efforts are being made to ensure that women in remote and challenging areas also benefit from government schemes. This has not only improved their standard of living but has also helped them integrate more strongly into the mainstream of society.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that efforts are being made to make women self-reliant through schemes related to housing, drinking water, livelihoods, and self-employment. A large number of women are becoming economically empowered through self-help groups and other activities, indicating positive social transformation.

विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. रमन सिंह ने क्षेत्र की बहुप्रतीक्षित मांग पर मंत्री परिषद की बैठक में त्वरित निर्णय लेने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस निर्णय से राजनांदगांव में अत्याधुनिक स्टेडियम का निर्माण संभव होगा, जिससे प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों को उच्च स्तरीय अवसर प्राप्त होंगे। साथ ही, आदिवासी बाहुल्य क्षेत्र होने के कारण यहां की प्रतिभाओं को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी क्षमता प्रदर्शित करने का बेहतर मंच मिलेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णुदेव साय ने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ की यह पावन धरती माता शबरी, मां दंतेश्वरी और मां महामाया की भूमि है, जहां नारी को सदैव शक्ति के रूप में सम्मानित किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में नारी केवल सम्मान की पात्र नहीं, बल्कि सृजन और शक्ति की आधारशिला है। नवरात्रि में जिस शक्ति की हम पूजा करते हैं, वही शक्ति समाज में मातृरूप में विद्यमान है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि हमारे शास्त्रों में वर्णित “या देवी सर्वभूतेषु मातृ-रूपेण संस्थिता…” केवल एक श्लोक नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय जीवन-दर्शन का मूल तत्व है। उन्होंने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ की धरती पर भक्त माता कर्मा, तीजन बाई, उषा बारले जैसी विभूतियों ने अपनी प्रतिभा और समर्पण से प्रदेश की पहचान को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर तक पहुँचाया है। साथ ही, रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, रानी दुर्गावती और अवंती बाई जैसी वीरांगनाओं के योगदान को भी उन्होंने प्रेरणास्रोत बताया। आधुनिक युग में कल्पना चावला और सुनीता विलियम्स जैसी महिलाओं ने देश का गौरव वैश्विक स्तर पर बढ़ाया है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था में महिलाओं की भागीदारी और प्रतिनिधित्व का विस्तार समाज के समग्र विकास के लिए आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि जनप्रतिनिधियों के कार्यक्षेत्र के विस्तार और जनसंख्या वृद्धि को देखते हुए समय-समय पर व्यवस्थागत सुधार और संतुलन पर विचार करना महत्वपूर्ण है, जिससे शासन व्यवस्था अधिक प्रभावी और जनसरोकारों के अनुरूप बन सके।

उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले वर्षों में देश में महिलाओं के सम्मान, स्वास्थ्य, सुरक्षा और आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में अनेक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की गई हैं। स्वच्छता, स्वास्थ्य, वित्तीय समावेशन, शिक्षा और सुरक्षा जैसे क्षेत्रों में योजनाओं के माध्यम से महिलाओं के जीवन स्तर में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन देखने को मिला है। इन प्रयासों ने महिलाओं की गरिमा और आत्मनिर्भरता को सुदृढ़ करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ में महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण को विशेष प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है। वर्ष 2026 को “महतारी गौरव वर्ष” के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है, जिसका उद्देश्य मातृशक्ति के योगदान को सम्मान देना और उनके सर्वांगीण विकास को प्रोत्साहित करना है। उन्होंने बताया कि विभिन्न योजनाओं के माध्यम से महिलाओं को आर्थिक सहायता, स्वरोजगार के अवसर और सामाजिक सुरक्षा प्रदान की जा रही है।

उन्होंने कहा कि दूरस्थ और चुनौतीपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में भी महिलाओं तक योजनाओं का लाभ पहुँचाने के लिए विशेष प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इससे न केवल उनके जीवन स्तर में सुधार हुआ है, बल्कि वे समाज की मुख्यधारा से भी अधिक मजबूती से जुड़ रही हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आवास, पेयजल, आजीविका और स्वरोजगार से जुड़ी योजनाओं के माध्यम से महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जा रहा है। बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं आज स्व-सहायता समूहों और अन्य गतिविधियों के माध्यम से आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त बन रही हैं, जो समाज में सकारात्मक
परिवर्तन का संकेत है।

उन्होंने कहा कि पंचायती राज संस्थाओं में महिलाओं की सक्रिय भागीदारी लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने का एक सशक्त उदाहरण है। बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं जनप्रतिनिधि के रूप में नेतृत्व कर रही हैं और स्थानीय विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि महिलाओं को परिवार और समाज में सशक्त बनाने के लिए विभिन्न स्तरों पर सकारात्मक पहल की जा रही हैं, जिससे वे निर्णय प्रक्रिया में अधिक प्रभावी भूमिका निभा सकें।

अपने संबोधन के अंत में मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि मातृशक्ति का सशक्तिकरण केवल एक नीति का विषय नहीं, बल्कि समाज के समग्र विकास का आधार है। उन्होंने सभी वर्गों से इस दिशा में सहयोग और संवेदनशीलता के साथ कार्य करने का आह्वान किया, ताकि एक समतामूलक, सशक्त और समृद्ध समाज का निर्माण किया जा सके।

In order to ensure swift and effective resolution of public grievances, the Government of Chhattisgarh is launching the Sushasan Tihar Good Governance Festival 2026 from May 1, which will continue across the state until June 10. Large-scale grievance redressal camps will be organized in both rural and urban areas.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has issued directions to all District Collectors, emphasizing that time-bound resolution of public complaints is the cornerstone of good governance. He reiterated that transparent, simple, and prompt delivery of services remains the government’s top priority.

Focus on clearing pending cases in the initial phase

Collectors were instructed to prioritize disposal of all pending cases till April 30, including:
* Revenue matters such as mutation, partition, and land demarcation
* Pending wage payments under MGNREGA
* Delayed payments in beneficiary-oriented schemes
* Issuance of income, caste, and residence certificates
* Immediate resolution of issues related to electricity, transformers, and drinking water (hand pumps)

Eligible beneficiaries will also be facilitated under key schemes including Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Ration cards, Ayushman Bharat and Social security pensions.

Statewide grievance redressal camps

Under the campaign: Camps will be held from May 1 to June 10
* Rural camps will cover clusters of 15–20 Gram Panchayats
* Urban camps will be organized ward-wise
* Applications will be accepted and benefits delivered on the spot
* Most cases will be resolved within one month

Awareness about government schemes will also be promoted, and applicants will be informed about the status of their submissions.

Public representatives to engage directly

Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, the Chief Secretary, and in-charge secretaries will visit camps, inspect arrangements, and interact directly with citizens.

Chief Minister to conduct surprise inspections

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will personally visit districts to:

* Conduct surprise inspections of development works
* Take direct feedback from beneficiaries
* Hold review meetings at the district level

He will also share updates through press briefings and seek suggestions from citizens and civil society organizations.

Campaign to be turned into a mass movement

The Public Relations Department and district administrations have been directed to ensure extensive outreach through digital, print, and local media to maximize public participation.

रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ में आम नागरिकों की समस्याओं के त्वरित और प्रभावी निराकरण के लिए “सुशासन तिहार 2026” की शुरुआत आज से होने जा रही है। यह अभियान 10 जून 2026 तक प्रदेशभर में चलाया जाएगा, जिसके तहत ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में बड़े पैमाने पर जन समस्या निवारण शिविर आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री विष्णु देव साय ने इस संबंध में सभी जिला कलेक्टरों को पत्र जारी कर स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए हैं कि जन शिकायतों का समयबद्ध निराकरण ही सुशासन की आधारशिला है। उन्होंने कहा कि आमजन को पारदर्शी, सरल और त्वरित सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना राज्य सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है।

पहले चरण में लंबित मामलों के निराकरण पर जोर

अभियान के पूर्व चरण में ही कलेक्टरों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि 30 अप्रैल तक सभी लंबित प्रकरणों का प्राथमिकता से समाधान सुनिश्चित करें। इसमें—
* नामांतरण, बंटवारा, सीमांकन जैसे राजस्व प्रकरण
* मनरेगा के लंबित मजदूरी भुगतान
* हितग्राहीमूलक योजनाओं के लंबित भुगतान
* आय, जाति, निवास प्रमाण पत्र
* बिजली, ट्रांसफार्मर और पेयजल (हैंडपंप) समस्याएं के त्वरित निराकरण पर विशेष ध्यान रखा जाएगा, साथ ही पात्र हितग्राहियों को उज्ज्वला योजना, राशन कार्ड, आयुष्मान भारत और सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन का लाभ दिलाने के निर्देश भी दिए गए हैं।

प्रदेशभर में लगेंगे समाधान शिविर

सुशासन तिहार के तहत 1 मई से 10 जून तक लगेंगे शिविर

* ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 15–20 ग्राम पंचायतों के समूह में शिविर
* शहरी क्षेत्रों में वार्ड क्लस्टर आधारित आयोजन
* मौके पर ही आवेदन स्वीकार और लाभ वितरण
* अधिकतम एक माह में आवेदनों का निराकरण

शिविरों में शासन की योजनाओं के प्रति जागरूकता भी बढ़ाई जाएगी और प्रत्येक आवेदक को उसके आवेदन की स्थिति की जानकारी दी जाएगी।

जनप्रतिनिधियों की भागीदारी और सीधा संवाद

अभियान के दौरान मंत्रीगण, सांसद, विधायक, मुख्य सचिव और प्रभारी सचिव समय-समय पर शिविरों में पहुंचकर व्यवस्थाओं का निरीक्षण करेंगे और आम नागरिकों से सीधा संवाद स्थापित करेंगे।

CM करेंगे औचक निरीक्षण और समीक्षा

मुख्यमंत्री विष्णु देव साय स्वयं विभिन्न जिलों का दौरा कर—

* विकास कार्यों का औचक निरीक्षण
* हितग्राहियों से सीधा फीडबैक
* जिला स्तर पर समीक्षा बैठकें करेंगे

निरीक्षण के बाद वे प्रेसवार्ता के माध्यम से जानकारी साझा करेंगे और नागरिकों व सामाजिक संगठनों से सुझाव भी लेंगे।

व्यापक प्रचार से बनेगा जन आंदोलन

जनसम्पर्क विभाग और जिला प्रशासन को निर्देशित किया गया है कि अभियान के व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए प्रभावी कार्ययोजना तैयार की जाए। डिजिटल, प्रिंट और स्थानीय माध्यमों के जरिए अधिक से अधिक लोगों को जोड़ा जाएगा

Kanker’s meritorious student Kritika Tekam topped the CBSE Class 10 Board Examination by scoring 97% among nearly 750 Eklavya Model Residential Schools across the country, bringing pride to Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated her, calling the achievement a reflection of both her talent and the state’s efforts to strengthen quality education for tribal students, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to academic excellence.

Shri Sai added that Eklavya Model Residential Schools are providing better opportunities to talented students of the state, enabling them to establish their identity at the national level. Chief Minister also extended his best wishes to all successful students and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to promoting excellence in education.

Tribal Welfare Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam congratulated Kritika Tekam for topping among Eklavya Model Residential Schools in the CBSE Class 10 examination, calling it a testament to the talent and hard work of tribal students. He said these schools are providing quality education and support, enabling students to excel nationally, and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to their overall development.

It is noteworthy that the CBSE recently declared the Class 10 Board Examination results for the academic session 2025–26, in which Kritika Tekam from Chhattisgarh secured the top position among Eklavya schools nationwide.

Appreciating the success and efforts of Eklavya School and student, Tribal Welfare Department’s Principal Secretary Shri Sonmani Borah informed that class 10th student Kritika Tekam, has brought laurel and pride to the state and the department. The students performed well overall, with several schools achieving strong results, including 11 recording a 100% pass rate.

It is noteworthy that in all 75 Eklavya Model Residential Schools operating in the state, special emphasis is given not only to providing high-quality education to Scheduled Tribe students but also to their mental and physical well-being. As a result, in the fourth National Sports Competition of Eklavya Schools held during the academic session 2025–26, the Chhattisgarh team secured second place at the national level with an excellent performance.

Commissioner Shri Saransh Mittar informed that Eklavya Model Residential School, Kosmabuda (Gariaband) was declared the national winner in the Model Youth Gram Sabha Competition by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj among 800 schools and awarded Rs 1 crore, with students honoured on January 28, 2026.
